Rafi ud-Darjat Silver Rupee Listed For INR 60,000

Rafi ud-Darjat was the youngest son of Rafi-ush-Shan and the nephew of Azimush Shan. He sat on the throne of the Mughal Empire after the death of Farrukhsiyar in 1719 CE. Rafi-udDarjat was an intelligent person controlled by Sayyid Brothers, who carried out administration in his name.Rafi ud-Darjat was succeeded by his brother Rafi-ud-Daula, popularly known as Shah Jahan II. This silver rupee was issued by Rafi-ud-Darjat, in AH 1131 from the mint Sarhind. The obverse of this coin is inscribed as a 'Ba-HazaraanBarkaat' couplet with the title of Rafi ud-Darjat. The reverse side of this coin is inscribed with the Mint name, Jalusmaimanatmanus and flower mintmark.
