Nasir Shah was the ruler of Malwa; he ruled Malwa Sultanate between AH 906 and AH 916. He was the son of a Ghiyath shah. Malwa Sultanate was a late medieval kingdom Probably of Turco-Afgan origin. The Malwa Sultanate; was founded by Dilawar Khan Gauri, the governor of the Delhi Sultanate, who asserted his independence in 1392 CE. This silver tanka was issued by Nasir Shah during his rule in Malwa Sultanate. The obverse of this gold tanka is inscribed as Al-Wathiqb'al-Samad Lam Yazali Abu al-MuzaffarNasir Shah. The reverse side of this silver tanka is inscribed as Ghiyath Shah al-Khilji al-Sultan KhalladaMulkahu.
