South Sudan is a landlocked country in the east or central Africa. The country border touches Ethiopia to the east, Sudan to the north, the Central African Republic to the west, Congo to the southwest, Uganda to the south, and Kenya to the Southeast. The legends on the note are, “Bank of South Sudan; Promise to pay the bearer on demand; and One South Sudanese Pound”. The 1 pound note of South Sudan is worth 200 Rupees only.
