Norway post issued two stunning stamps to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Olsen gang. The stories about Egon Olsen and the frustrated policeman Hermansen have captured the imagination of the entire Norwegian audience for the half century. Olsenbanden was originally a Danish film series. Norway and Sweden both made their own version of the series where the Norwegian version created by director Knut Bohwim, stuck very closely to the Danish one.
