Every year April 18 is commemorated as World Heritage Day; this day is also known as the International Day for Monuments and Sites for Monuments and sites. World Heritage Day spreads awareness about preserving the history, diversity, and vulnerability of world heritage sites and monuments. The day was first observed by United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) in 1983.The main aim to celebrate this day is to spread awareness among people about the importance of cultural heritage in their lives. The main idea behind commemorating this day is to make people of different geographical regions meet with each other and share their knowledge about their cultural history, tradition, and heritage.
