Poland Post joined the other European Postal Service to issue a special stamp that can enter Europa 202 philatelic competition in 2020. The issue is devoted to the Vistula river the longest and the largest river in Poland which served as the main postal roué of the country for many years.Maciej Jedrysik designed this stamp, the Vistula is the main river in Poland. The importance of the virtual is justified by the large catchment area. Alongside the significant political and economic development of Poland in the 15th to 16th century the golden age and the tributaries connected to the royal city.
Royal and private merchant's postal system of the letter carries and horse rides had been functioning since the Middle Ages, finally resulting in the establishment of the public postal service founded by King Sigismund II on August 1558.
