Javanese dance is the dance and art form that was created and influenced by Javanese culture in Indonesia. Javanese dance movement is controlled, deliberate, and refined. Javanese art often displays finesse and at the same time a serene composure that is elevated far above everything mundane.Javanese dance is usually associated with the courtly, refined, and sophisticated culture of the Javanese Kraton, such as the bedhaya and srimpi dance. The obverse of the banknote depicts two nobles from Solo - Javanese dancers at left and right. The reverse features legal text in four languages: Dutch, Javanese, Chinese, and Arabic.
