Kumbhalgarh Fort is the second largest wall after the Great Wall of China – it is none but the Kumbhalgarh fort in Rajasthan. It is also the second most important citadel after Chittorgarh in the Mewar region. The Kumbhalgarh Fort is 3600 ft tall and 38km long that surrounds the Udaipur area. In the year 2013, Kumbhalgarh Fort is declared, as a UNESCO world heritage site.The Kumbhalgarh fort was built by Mewar king Rana Kumbha during the 15th Century between 1443 CE and 1458 CE. This fort is named after Rana Kumbha, and this fort is cleverly designed on a hilltop to provide a strategic position to the Mewar kings to protect them against the attacks of the enemy.
