The Kumbhalgarh fort was built by Mewar king Rana Kumbha during the 15th Century between 1443 CE and 1458 CE. This fort is named after Rana Kumbha, and this fort is cleverly designed on a hilltop to provide a strategic position to the Mewar kings to protect them against the attacks of the enemy.
