Bipin Chandra Pal Commemorative Stamp

Bipin Chandra Pal was an Indian nationalist, writer, social reformer, and Indian Independence movement freedom fighter. He is best known as a part of the radical freedom fighter trio Lal-Bal-Pal. The other two were Lala Lajpat Rai and Bal Gangadhar Tilak. He was one of the main architects of the Swadeshi movement.He stood against the partition of West Bengal. Bipin Chandra Pal is well known as the ‘Father of Revolutionary Thoughts’; he boycotts foreign goods and emphasis Indian goods. Bipin Chandra Pal was one of the main architects of the Swadeshi movement along with Sri Aurobindo Gosh.
This commemorative stamp was issued in the year 1958 to commemorate him and his work.
