Tuvalu’s USS Constitution Ship Coin

The Perth Mint of Australia issued the fifth and final silver coin of the Ships That Changed the World Series. Issued in the year 2012-the silver coin honors the USS Constitution.The fourth release in this charming series features the USS Constitution named by George Washington after the Constitution of the United States of America. She was launched in 1797 and is the world's oldest floating commissioned naval vessel. The Ship has been included in the 5 coin series of “Ships that Changed the World”.
The reverse of the coin depicts Sailing ship 'USS Constitution' on a colored ocean with coloured globe in background and latitude gauge on the left. The obverse depicts the Effigy of Queen Elizabeth II along with the name of the country and the denomination.
