Huns were the nomadic people who lived in Central Asia, the Caucasus and East Europe between 4th and 6th Century CE. They were best known for their stunning military achievements. They raided their way across Europe; they acquired a reputation for being ruthless, indomitable savages. Their origin is still unknown; but, scholar claims that they have originated from nomad Xiongnu people. Some other scholar claims that they had originated from Kazakhstan and or the part of Asia.This copper Drachma which weighs around 9g was issued by king Toramana II during his reign. The obverse of this coin depicts the standing slightly left; sacrificing over altar and holding a trident. The reverse of this coin depicts Ardoksho seated facing, holding diadem and cornucopia with Brahmi legend 'Jaya' in the right field.
