Silver coin of King Krishnaraja

This silver coin was minted during the rule of Kalachuri King, Krishnaraja of Mahismati. This dynasty has various branches throughout Indian history. Its earliest administrative evidence can be found from the Kingdom of Mahismati.The know coins from King Krishnaraja coinage are minted in silver and copper. The above-shown silver issue is the first type, the silver issues contain at least three types. The obverse of this coin depicts A bust of a king is depicted facing right within the dotted border.
The reverse of this coin depicts Nandi bull is depicted seating in the center below the three dots on a platform. The relief is surrounded by the legend inscribed in Brahmi script reads "Parama Maheswara Mata Pitri Padanudhyata Sri Krishnaraja" within the dotted border.
The second types have a small flan compared to the first type. The horns of the Nandi and the hump are bigger in comparison. The first type illustrates an unusual sequence _._ below the Nandi (bull).
