Grace Coolidge was the wife of Calvin Coolidge the 30th president of the United States of America from 1923 to 1929. She was the first lady of the United States of America from 1923 to 1929 and the second lady of the United States of America from 1921 to 1923.br> She is also She was born on 3rd January 1879 in Burlington, Vermont to Lemira Barrett Goodhue. After attending her local school, she enrolled herself at the University of Vermont, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1902. She was also used to teach at a well-known school for the deaf and hard-of-hearing and serve on its Board of Trustees.
When she became the first lady of the United States of America she promoted education for the deaf and drew attention to the needs of the disabled. As the first lady of the United States of America, she also promoted many groups including leadership and community service activities for boys and girls. She also supported wounded veterans and other disabled people, humanitarian and disaster relief.
The United States of America had issued this commemorative $10 in the year 2014 with the theme of Grace Coolidge. The obverse of this coin depicts the bust of Grace Coolidge. The reverse of this coin depicts three hands finger-spelling the letters the USA in American Sign Language against the backdrop of the White House.
