Chunghwa Post celebrates the year of the Rat

Chunghwa Post has released a set of two stamps to celebrate the arrival of the year of the Rat. The image illustrated in these stamps resembles wood-blow prints and their clean lines evoke the vitality of the year of the Rat. Along with the stamps Chunghwa Post also released a Souvenir sheet.The first NT$6 stamp depicts a rat juggling a traditional Chinese coin symbolizing wealth and good fortune in the coming year. While the second stamp NT$13 stamp illustrates the dancing rat representing happiness and health. The NT$15 souvenir sheet depicts a pair of red and purple rats facing each other with a radiant sun and money tree representing the phrase ‘hitting the big time’ it is related to an individual’s great finance.
