Thomas Jefferson was an American statesman diplomat, lawyer, and architect, author of Declaration of Independence; he is also known as founding the father of the United States of America. He had also served his country as the third president of the United States of America from 1801 to 1809. During the American Revolutionary War in 1775-83 Jefferson served in the Virginia legislature and the Continental Congress and was governor of Virginia.
The obverse of this coin depicts the image of Thomas Jefferson which is based on a medallion portrait of Gilbert Stuart. The reverse of this coin depicts Monticello.
