The United States of America had issued this quarter dollar commemorative coin with the theme of state Washington in the year 2007. This coin is the 42nd coin issued the 50 state quarter dollar program and the second coin issued in the year 2007.

Washington is officially known as the State of Washington, it is the state of Pacific Northwest region of the United States. It is the 18th largest state and 13th most populous states of the United States of America. This state is rich in lumber production. It is one of the wealthiest and most socially progressive states in the country.

The reverse of this coin depicts salmon breaching the water in front of majestic Mount Rainer.
