Coin dealer Gainesville Coins recently issued the 2017 Guardian Angel Silver Coin for Niue Islands made of one troy ounce of .999 fine silver.

The reverse features the angel wrapping her wings around a worried boy who is looking up to the angle with hope. Two flying doves are depicted on both sides of the angel. Other inscriptions include GUARDIAN ANGEL, purity and weight. The sun rises from a cloud behind the two figures.

The obverse features a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II along with the inscriptions ELIZABETH II, NIUE, ONE DOLLAR, 2017, all in a Proof-like finis.

The coin has a reeded edge and its mintage limit is 100,000 pieces.
