Department of Post issued a miniature sheet along with 5 commemorative postal stamps of Geographical Indication (GI) Registered Handloom Products on 31st December 2018- The sheet features Baluchari silk saree of West Bengal; Bhagalpur silk of Bihar, Pashmina of Kashmir; Pochampally Ikat of Telangana and Tangaliya shawl of Gujarat- The Geographical Indication of Goods (Registration and Protection) Act of 1999 came into effect from 15th September 2003- Each stamp has 5 rupees as face value-
