On 7th June 2018, India and South Africa released a joint stamp issue to commemorate 20 years of strategic partnership between both the countries. Stamp with Rs. 5 denomination depicts Oliver Tambo. He was born on October 25, 1917, in Bizana, South Africa. Oliver Tambo was the acting president of the African National Congress, the South African anti-apartheid political party. Oliver Tambo opened the first black law firm in the country with Nelson Mandela.
