This gold mohur issued by Mughal Emperor Farrukhsiyar from the mint Muazzamabad is listed for INR 100,000 in the upcoming auction of Todywalla which will be held in Mumbai on 20th July 2019.
Farrukhsiyar sat on the Mughal throne in the year 1713 CE and ruled it till 1719 CE. He sat on the Mughal throne with the help of Sayyid brothers, particularly, Sayyid Ali Khan Barha. Particularly, Sayyid Ali Khan Barha, who was chosen as grand wazir of Mughal Emperor.
The obverse of this gold mohur is inscribed with the name and title of Farrukhsiyar and the reverse of this coin are inscribed with the mint name.
