Coin from the Times of Grand Master Alof De Wignacourt Found

During the repaving of Castille Square, a coin from the time of Grand Master Alof De Wignacourt was discovered.Officials state that the works revealed part of the old surface of St Paul’s Street, a coin from the time of Alof De Wignacourt (1601 to 1622) and pottery from the time of the Order of St John in Malta.
Superintendence of Cultural heritage owns the artefacts now.
Nine out of 15 grain silos found during the discovery were also revealed.
