Nebraska is one of the states of the United States of America; this state lies in both Great Plains and the Midwestern United States. It makes a bordered with Iowa to the east, Missouri to Southeast, South Dakota to the north.
Nebraska is consisting of two major land regions the Dissected Till Plains and Great Plains. The Dissected Till Plains is that region which consists of gently rolling hills and it is consist of state’s largest cities like Omaha and Lincoln. The Great Plains is the region which occupies most of Western Nebraska; it is characterized by treeless prairie, suitable for cattle-grazing.
This coin was issued by the United States of America with the theme of State Nebraska in the year 2006. This coin is the second coin released in the year 2006 and overall it is 37th coin issued in 50 States Quarters Program. The reverse of this coin depicts an ox-drawn covered wagon carrying pioneers and Chimney Rock in the background.
