American Memorial Park honour Americans and Marians people who gave their lives during the Marianas Campaign of World War II. As a result of the Marianas Campaign, thousands of military personnel and many island residents lost their lives. It was made as a living memory to honour the people who had sacrificed during the Marianas Campaign of World War II.
It lies on the island of Saipan, Northern Mariana Island. Nearly around 5,204 names are inscribed on a memorial which is dedicated. American Memorial Park pays a tribute to American servicemen and women with offerings like baseball, bicycling, running, tennis, picnicking, and swimming.
The United States of America had issued a commemorative coin of American Memorial Park in the year 2019. The reverse of this coin depicts young women in traditional attire at the front of the flag circle and court of honour.
