The New Zealand Mint issued 2 beautiful Niue coins featuring one of the most beloved characters that we have grown up reading about – Cinderella. Cinderella’s Fairy Godmother transforms her into a princess and she meets her Prince Charming after being mistreated by her stepmother and stepsisters.

The reverse features an image of the princess surrounded by flowers. Other inscriptions for both coins include ‘DISNEY CINDERELLA’, ‘© Disney’, and ‘1/4 OZ 9999 GOLD’ for the gold coin or ‘1 OZ 999 FINE SILVER’ for the silver coin.

The obverse bears the effigy of Queen Elizabeth with inscriptions of ‘ELIZABETH II’, ‘NIUE’, ‘2015’ and ‘TWO DOLLARS’ for the silver coin and ‘25 DOLLARS’ for the gold coin.
