Abraham Lincoln One Dollar Commemorative Coin

Abraham Lincoln was born on 12th February 1809 into a poor frontier family. He had served his country as 16th President of United States from 1861 until his assassination in April 1865. He was also an American Lawyer and Politician. He had also led his country through the Civil War and its moral, constitutional, and political crisis. While doing his work he had also preserved the Union, abolished slavery, strengthened the federal government, and modernized the economy.

The United States of America had issued his one dollar commemorative coin in the year 2010 with his portrait on the obverse side of the coin. The obverse side of the coin has a portrait of Abraham Lincoln with the inscription ‘ABRAHAM LINCOLN’ to the top and ‘IN GOD WE TRUST 16TH PRESIDENT 1861-1865’ at the bottom side of the coin. The reverse side of the coin depicts ‘Statue of Liberty’ with denomination $1 and the inscription ‘UNITED STATES OF AMERICA’.
