Guntur Chillies Featured on a Special Cover

A Special Cover Featuring Chillies of Guntur was released during the Gunturpex held between 8th and 9th February 2016.During this District Level Exhibition, a special cover accenting the Chillies of the region was released. Guntur is the main producer of different varieties of chillies.
Most of the varieties exported to the countries like Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Middle East, South Korea, U.K. and USA & Latin America are produced at Guntur.
To recognise the importance, the chillies appear on a Special Cover released during the Philatelic exhibition.
