George Washington is also known as the founding father of United States of America, he had served his country as first American president, commander of the Continental Army, president of Constitutional Convention and gentleman planter. In the American Revolutionary War, he commanded Patriot forces to victory against the British and their allies. He presided over the Constitutional Convention of 1787 which established the new federal government, and he has been called the "Father of His Country"United Nations of America has issued this 1 dollar commemorative coin in the year 2007. The obverse of this coin depicts the portrait of George Washington with an inscription ‘GEORGE WASHINGTON’ at the top and the inscription ‘1ST PRESIDENT 1789-1797’. The reverse side of the coin depicts the image of ‘STATUE OF LIBERTY’ with an inscription ‘UNITED STATES OF AMERICA’ and $1.
