ONGC stands for Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited is an Indian’s Multinational oil and Gas Company. It was founded on 14th August 1956 by Government of India, It is Asia’s largest and most active company involved in exploration and production of oil. It is one of the highest profits making corporation of India.ONGC produces about 77 percent of crude oil production and about 81 percent of Natural gas production. Indian government had issued a 5 Rupee commemorative on 2006, to celebrate the golden jubilee of ONGC. Indian Government had also issued 50 Rupees commemorative coin in proof and uncirculated specimen.
