2016-02-26 Fri
One of the world’s most engaging board-games, Monopoly has got a whole new avatar now by bidding farewell to paper money and introducing credit cards, keeping the tech-savvy generation in mind.Monopoly was once all about how tall your money stack is, but its latest version has a credit score system. The makers of the game Hasbro wants to keep in pace with the new generation by introducing the latest edition “Ultimate Banking” that will be released this year.
Players will now tap their plastic on a small credit card reader dubbed the "Ultimate Banking Unit" to purchase properties and pay rent. The bank cards will also track wealth and rising property values, Hasbro said. Event cards that can make rent levels rise and fall based on your luck, makes the game even more dynamic and fast paced. Hudak said that some may still prefer playing the original game.
