Beautiful, rare and intriguing, this gold 12 Xerafins of Portuguese Goa was issued during the reign of King Jose I in 1769 CE.The obverse of this coin depicts a long cross in the centre with value and date inscribed within the angles with a dotted border around. The reverse of this coin depicts a crowned monogram.
The denomination 12 Xerafins is equivalent to 6 rupees. This fine specimen is bided in between INR 300000 to 350000 by Oswal Auctions.
