2016 Wedding 1 oz Silver Proof Coin bears a design of a bride and groom on the reverse beside two intertwined gold wedding rings.

2016 Newborn Baby 1/2 oz Silver Proof Coin’s design offers a unique take on the story of babies brought by storks. Instead of a stork, the image shows a colourful kookaburra delivering a sleeping newborn baby.

Snugglepot & Cuddlepie were originally introduced in 1918 portraying the two in the Australian bush. It slowly became the most loved stories in Australian culture. The 2016 Snugglepot & Cuddlepie 1/2 oz Silver Proof Coins celebrate that fact with the two sitting on a tree branch surrounded by gumnuts and gum leaves.
