Chinese New Year Celebrated on Bulgarian Stamp
2018-02-24 Sat
A postage stamp named "2018 -- Year of the Yellow Dog" was released by Bulgarian Post. 3,600 special commemorative stamps were released and each one of them was denominated 0.65 Bulgarian lev. The inauguration ceremony was attended by hundreds of eager philatelists, wanting to buy a copy of the stamp.A similar stamp celebrating the Chinese New Year of Fire Cock was released last year by Bulgaria. Experts believe that the stamp is impressive and special because China and Bulgaria have always maintained good diplomatic, political, economic, and people's relations.
Since the issues are limited to 3,600 copies, their value and demand would appreciate with time.
