Malaysian Bank Promoting Go Green Initiative

The Association of Banks in Malaysia (ABM) declared that it has already circulated a considerable amount of new as well as fit banknotes to the banks of the country for the Chinese New Year.The bank also encourages the public to continue using fit banknotes which are as good as new, when they come down to exchange their notes. This is based on the national “Go Green” initiative that was started in 2013 by Bank Negara Malaysia in 2013. The initiative aims at conserving resources and protecting the environment. The association also shared their vote of thanks to the public for supporting this national “Go Green” initiative.
