Perth Mint Releases Beautiful New Coins Featuring Phoenix

The Perth Mint has revealed world’s first pave set Argyle pink diamond gold Jewelled Phoenix coin at the 47th World Money Fair held in Berlin. Experts stated that there is a great demand for coins featuring Chinese symbols and iconography. The coin’s designs showcase the highest level of craftsmanship.Produced using 10oz of 99.99% pure gold, the new coin features a blooming paulownia tree. It also features a highly detailed 18ct pink gold Chinese phoenix handset with 1.22ct rare natural fancy coloured pink diamonds from Rio Tinto’s Argyle Diamond Mine in East Kimberley region.
Phoenix is a symbol of happiness and prosperity. The compassionate and trusted creature is considered to be the immortal king of birds. Only eight such coins will be released as the number “eight” is considered to be lucky in Chinese philosophy. They come in custom-designed tiered black casings.
