Taiwan is planning to introduce new Dollar banknotes soon. A Central Bank committee has released the proposed design options and the public has been asked to cast a vote for their favourite design untill 25th February. Any registered Facebook user can cast one vote per day until the deadline.

All the proposed designs were created and submitted by Taiwan citizens. The results of the contest will be out on 27th February. The NTD notes that are currently in circulation were introduced in 2000.

Contestants who submitted designs as a team were asked to submit a complete series of notes. Contestants who participated individually were asked to submit designs of a single note.
