Silver Maple Leaf Bullion Coin Celebrates its 30th Anniversary
2018-01-25 Thu
It has been 30 years since the Royal Canadian Mint has been producing and selling Silver Maple Leaf coins successfully. The Mint is issuing tow special 30th Anniversary versions with reverses featuring the popular maple leaf design. One of them features the numeral “30”, while the other features a Mint-first double-incuse engraving of both the maple leaf reverse and Queen Elizabeth II’s effigy on the obverse.Authorities claim that the Silver Maple Leaf bullion coin is known for 99.99% purity and Bullion DNA anti-counterfeiting technology. The new coins have machined radial lines and their reverses feature a micro-engraved maple leaf shaped security mark with the number“18”, to denote their year of issue. These coins have a face value of $5 face value and will be available separately or in a 500-coin monster box.
