The latest Slovenian 1.77 postage stamp released on 11th December, features the country’s national basketball team with Miami Heat basketball player Dragic, holding the EuroBasket championships trophy which the team had won on 17th September. The souvenir sheet of one depicts the EuroBasket trophy in the selvage.

Media reports stared that Dragic was surprised and happy when he got to know about the stamp featuring his team. Dragic was also the captain of his team and the championship’s most valuable player.

Goran Dragic finished with 35 points, 7 rebounds, and 3 assists in the tournament. He scored 22.6 points, 5.1 assists and 4.4 rebounds per game in the tournament and was rewarded with the MVP award. This stamp is a must have for stamp collectors who love basketball!
