Yaudheyas were the rulers of modern-day South Eastern Punjab and Rajasthan. They occupy a very prominent position in the galaxy of ancient India and their coins have become one of the sources of study.The given coin in the image is one of the coins of Yaudheya. It depicts the sacrificial bull tied to a sacrificial post ‘yupa’ with legend ‘Yaudheya Namba hudhanyanke’. The reverse has an elephant facing right. This coin was sold for INR 6000 at Todywalla Auctions.
