All Star Wars Fans: Please Make a Note of These Commemorative Banknotes

The biggest currency producer in the world, De La Rue have printed limited edition Star Wars official commemorative notes with a Light Side and a Dark Side to celebrate the launch of Star Wars: The Last Jedi. 1,000 commemorative notes would be available for sale on eBay at a cost of £100 each. 50 unique premium notes will auctioned.Made of 100% cotton cylinder mold paper, printed in De La Rue’s high-security proofing department, the note has serial numbers, pattern work of the First Order, Resistance emblems, a message in Aurebesh and the signature of Director/Writer Rian Johnson. Hidden scenes are visible under UV light. Hidden messages in micro-text can be seen through a magnifying glass. The 50 premium notes will have a raised, hand-engraving of Rey and an interesting serial number.
The release is a part of an initiative by Disney and the GREAT Britain Campaign to celebrate 40 years of British creativity behind the Star Wars films. Money collected through the sales would be donated to a charity organisation called Together for Short Lives which works for children suffering from life-threatening conditions and their families.
