The 30th anniversary of the Canadian Silver Maple Leaf is celebrated with the release of a two-coin set comprising of a 1 oz Proof coin and a 1 oz Reverse Proof Silver coin by APMEX in association with the Royal Canadian Mint.

The single maple leaf has been a symbol of Canadian nationalism for a long time. The design remains the same but there are additional elements. Both coins feature a repeating pattern of a maple leaf with the number 30. The radial lines that have appeared on these special coins from 2014 are presented with a unique twist. 1,500 sets are available in the United States and they come in a maroon clamshell box with a custom outer sleeve.
