18-year-old Yashveer Goyal from Bhatinda suffers from deafness and also has problems with his speech. But, nothing can stop him from following his passion. Yashveer loves collecting commemorative postal stamps, old coins and currency notes of India and other countries as well.He has won several awards like the Achievement Award in Global IT Challenge for Youth With Disability-2017, last month at Hanoi, Vietnam and gold medal in National IT Challenge for Youth With Disabilities, 2017. Apart from collecting stamps, coins, and banknotes, Yashveer also loves indulging in amateur photography.
His father Chander Parkash supports him to follow his passion. After attending school meant for normal boys, Yashveer is currently doing his graduation from Indira Gandhi National Open University. He has a collection of every note issued by Republic India. He also has notes from foreign countries, many of which are rare. Apart from that, commemorative stamps of India and other nations.
