Book Release: World of Leading Bullion Coins

2017-11-02 Thu

It was announced on 17th October that Perth Mint, Austrian Mint, Royal Canadian Mint, Rand Refinery, Royal Mint, and Metals Focus will be launching The World of Leading Bullion Coins at the LBMA/LPPM Conference in Barcelona.

The World of Leading Bullion Coins will feature historical information about each mint along with amazing product photography. The book will include a majority of all the coins traded in the international market. This book explains why gold coins are favourites among investors and also offers other ways in which people can invest in precious metals.

Apart from gold coins, the book also talks about silver, platinum and palladium coins. 5,000 tons of gold and 33,000 tons of silver coins have been purchased by investors. The 22-carat gold bullion Krugerrand is the first modern bullion coin that was released back in 1967. The Canadian Maple Leaf was introduced in 1979, the Chinese Panda was out in 1982, the American Eagle was released in 1986, the Australian Kangaroo and the UK Britannia were released in 1987 and the Austrian Vienna Philharmonic was released in 1989. The British Sovereign was re-launched in 1957; one and two popular Rand gold coins in South Africa were first issued in 1952.

These coins offer a direct exposure to the precious metal value, the integrity of the state-owned mints, the legal tender status and easy ways to purchase coins as per demand. More and more investors are backing on bullion coins after the last financial crisis.
