2017 Royal Mint Britannia Set Released

APMEX is going to release the second coin in the 2017 Two-Coin Proof/Reverse Proof Silver Britannia set with a mintage limit of just 500 pieces. APMEX and Royal Mint joined hands in 2016 to offer this unique coin set. The first coin in the series was a Proof Silver Britannia and a Reverse Proof Silver Britannia which was the first for the mint as well. All the 500 sets were sold out very soon. The Reverse Proof finish featured a frosted background with mirrorlike details.Silver Britannia coins were introduced in 1997 with different kinds of obverse designs over the years. Britannia has been the focal subject for all these designs. This imagery represents a true icon of the people. Every set comes in a custom wooden box with The Royal Mint and APMEX logos. The packaging also includes a numbered certificate of authenticity.
