APMEX Inc. released their latest coin in the popular The Perth Mint Lunar Series which was introduced in 1996 and renewed in 2008. The coins from this series have unique designs, high metal content and great craftsmanship.According to the Chinese Lunar Calendar, 2018 would be called Year of the Dog. The new coins are made of .9999 fine Gold and depict a Labrador retriever. They are available in versions weighing from 1/20 oz up to 1 kilo. A German shepherd with a pup is depicted on .9999 fine Silver coins. They are also available in versions weighing from 1/2 oz up to 1 kilo. Both the designs also feature backgrounds which are unique to this series.
