The fourth dynasty that ruled the Delhi Sultanate from 1414 to 1451 CE was the Sayyid dynasty. They succeeded Tughluq’s and had four rulers throughout their administration period.

The first ruler of Sayyid dynasty was Khizr Khan, who was the governor of Punjab. He was succeeded by his son Mubarak Shah in the year 1421 AD and ruled until his death (1434). Mubarak Shah was the man of great vision, but the nobles were against him and kept revolting. During 13 years of his reign, most of his time was spent on controlling one revolt or the other.
