The new seventh edition of the Guide Book of United States Currency, a guide to American paper money by Kenneth Bressett is out. Kenneth was the former president of the ANA and senior editor of the Guide Book of United States Coins. The full-colour, 352-page book costs $19.95.The book shares information on large-size, small-size, and fractional paper money from the 1800s to today. Treasury notes of the War of 1812; World War II issues; uncut Bureau of Engraving and Printing sheets of currency; error notes with misprints, folding or cutting mistakes, alignment or ink problems, mismatched numbers etc have also been talked about. Currency grading tips, supply and demand, how to create a special collection, proper storage, counterfeits etc have also been discussed.
The book is popular among beginning and intermediate collectors to increase their knowledge. Expert collectors and dealers use it to gain technical information and market values in different grades.
