The Royal Australian Mint released three new, limited edition $2 coins to celebrate Children's Book Week. The coins will feature three illustrations of the main character Hush from Mem Fox's classic children's book named Possum Magic. The author and his fans are extremely excited about the new release.

An additional collector's set includes all three $2 coin designs, four different $1 coin designs, and a unique 1 cent coin. The collection costs $15 at Woolworths and at the Royal Australian Mint.

All designs have been created to include a “magic dust” ring by the original Possum Magic illustrator, Julie Vivas. The story of Hush, Grandma Poss, and their adventures are popular all over Australia since 35 years.

The first design was released in Woolworths registers on Tuesday. The second coin will be released on 22nd August while the third will be released on 29th August.
