Bob Whittington released a book named Money Talks, British Monarchs and History in Coins which talks about British monarchs and history. The book has more than 60 images of coins and reveals hidden stories behind them along with a background of their designs. The history of Great Britain has been discussed though coinage from the Iron Age to the present day.The book’s publisher, Whittles Publishing said that coins are a reflection of the lives we lead, the challenges we face, and the dreams we are trying to turn into reality.
The book also talks about monarchs who used coins to fund wars, maintain lifestyles and create an image to prove their position or legitimize fake claims to the throne.
The book which costs £16.99 has 176 pages, with full-colour images of over 60 coins and maps.
