The given coin in the image is the Gold Dinar of Samudra Gupta. It weighs around 7.53 grams. This was issued in the memory of his parents. The obverse is portraying, Chandragupta I standing with Queen Kumaradevi, king nimbate wearing a short tunic offering flower / Sinduradani to Queen Kumaradevi with his right hand, and crescent (for Chandragupta) above and legend Kumaradevi Shri to left and legend Chandra Gupta to right flanking the standard.
The reverse depicts Goddess Durga seated on a lion holding cornucopia and the legend Lichhavyah to commemorate the marriage alliance of Chandragupta I with the Lichhavi tribe of Nepal area.
