Remains from UFO crash were found in Roswell in 1947. The anniversary of this event was celebrated with the release of a silver coin shaped like a UFO by Art Mint for Niue Islands. The Roswell Army Air Field issued a statement about the find in the Roswell Daily Record on the next day. The RAAF later revised their statement by claiming that the object found was a weather balloon and not a flying disk. The U.S. military issued a report, 50 years later that the object was a part of a top-secret atomic espionage project called Project Mogul. Even then, many people still believe that the object did not belong to the earth. They visit the area where the remains were found every year.

The Proof .925 fine silver $2 coin for Niue has ultra-high relief and a concave/convex shape. The obverse is concave and features a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II. The convex reverse depicts a made up language and has a 7 mm high relief. The round nodules on the obverse glow when placed in the dark after they are exposed to light for some time. The 40 grams, 1.3 ounces pure silver coin has a mintage limit of 700 pieces, comes in a wooden box marked “Top Secret”, and costs $199.90.
